The website located at http://locom.co.za/ (“LOCOM website”), the LOCOM mobile application (“LOCOM APP”) and related services (collectively the “Services”) are made available to you (or the “user”) by SAMROCO (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in accordance with the laws of South Africa with its registered address at 106 Vukani Complex, 488 Boundary Road, North Riding AH, Roodepoort, Gauteng, 2162 and company registration number 2017/142437/07 (“Service Provider” or “we” or “us”).

Please note that not all of the aforementioned information is mandatory however depending on what information is provided by you, the accessibility and functionality of the Services may be limited. We may provide aggregate statistics about our sales, users, traffic patterns and other website information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any information that could identify you.
SECURITY
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Services, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only our employees and/or agents and/or service providers who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Where any of these employees and/or agents and/or service providers are cross border, we only share your personal information with them if they are based in countries who have privacy protection laws similar to POPI or if they are otherwise legally bound to similar laws, such as for example through an agreement with us. CHILDREN
LOCOM does not knowingly collect personal information from children (individuals under the age of 18). If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal information through the Services and you may not use the Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided personal information to LOCOM please contact us, and we will endeavour to delete that information from our databases.
